Embodying the Scout Spirit
Creating a Better World through Service

The Scouter's of Kwara State came together on Independence Day to embody the true spirit of scouting: service and unity. They reached out to the Kwara State Orphanage Home, extending a hand of kindness and compassion to those in need. Additionally, they inaugurated a parade team at Princess Luxury Hotel, symbolizing their commitment to excellence and discipline in all endeavors.

At the heart of their actions lies the essence of scouting - creating a better world. As messengers of peace, they recognize the importance of unity and solidarity. In a world rife with division and strife, they stand as beacons of hope, advocating for inclusivity, cooperation, and reconciliation.

In his message, Bamidele Victor (John.k.), Scout leader of Kwara State, underscores the significance of collective action. United, scouts can withstand any challenge, but divided, they risk faltering. He calls upon fellow scouts to reject segregation, nepotism, and separatist ideologies, and instead embrace a vision of total reconstruction, rehabilitation, and reconciliation.

In closing, he expresses gratitude and invokes blessings upon the Scout Association of Nigeria, Kwara State Scout Council, and all the good scout leaders across Nigeria. With unwavering dedication, scouts pledge to do their best, to serve God and country, and to help others at all times while upholding the principles of the Scout Law.

As the Scouts of Kwara State and beyond continue to promote scouting globally, they remain steadfast in their mission to create a better world. Their promise, "Oh my honour, I promise to do my best," serves as a guiding light, inspiring generations to come to uphold the values of scouting and contribute to a brighter future for all.
